Lady'sfinger fritters,or bhindi pakora

     Fritters or the Indian style pakoras have always had a very loved place on every plate.Be it afternoon meal,evening tea,or with the dalia khichri at dinner,pakoras are always welcome .Dipped in batter and fried crisp,here's another variation to our favourite accompaniment.



Lady'sfinger pakora





Ingredients
small sized ladysfinger-about 10
gram flour-4 tablespoon
rice flour-2 tablespoon
turmeric powder-half teaspoon
salt -as per taste
baking soda-1 pinch
cumin seeds-half teaspoon
chaat masala-half teaspoon
chili powder-half teaspoon
sugar -half teaspoon
ajwain -half teaspoon
kalonji or nigella seeds-half teaspoon
water for making batter
oil for frying

Wash and pat dry ladyfinger



Cut them lengthwise into two

Make a batter by mixing all the ingredients above except baking soda,the batter should coat the back of a spoon


Let it rest for 20 minutes
 Just before frying
Sprinkle little tumeric powder and salt (chilli powder can also be added)
Add two teaspoon of hot oil from the frying pan to the batter


 Add the baking soda to the batter


Dip the ladysfinger pieces into the batter




Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown



Ready to serve
